Bio

Donna Wares is the editor of the best-selling anthology My California: Journeys  by Great Writers and the author of Great Escapes: Southern  California .  She is a book editor who specializes in nonfiction projects and an award-winning journalist who has worked at the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, and Miami Herald.  Donna is the co-publisher and editor of CaliforniaAuthors.com. She also teaches in the Journalism Department at California State University, Long Beach.  She lives in Southern California.
